1. General Cleaning: Ideal for cleaning the exterior of your equipment including paint, wood, chrome, windows, parts, leather, plastics, upholstery, carpets, seat belts, and spot remover. Dilution varies depending on the level of soiling. Working range is from 1:10 to 1:60.
2. Exterior Carwash: For cars or truck cabs, the ratio is 2 oz. to 1 gallon of water. It will rinse streak-free and spot-free. A 1:10 solution agitated with a soft bristle brush may be used for tar, insects, salt, cinders, and diesel smoke. Rinse with clear water.
3. Car interiors: Clean with a solution of 1 part to 30 parts water, using a brush on upholstery and a rag for removing most of the moisture and dirt. Removes foul odors. For white wall tires, use 1 part to 10 parts water and agitate with a stiff bristle brush, then rinse.
3. Hand Cleaner: Used full strength, removes dirt, grease, and simple paints. It is odorless and non-irritating and will not cause dermatitis. Moreover, it will actually reduce the incidence of the same from other sources. Through colloidal interaction, the growth of certain types of enzymes is inhibited by removing trace materials essential to their nutrition and their enzymatic reaction. Before beginning greasy or dirty jobs, rub into hands like lotion and leave on throughout the day. This will keep the skin from absorbing so much oil, grease, and grime, making cleaning much easier and quicker at the end of the day.
4. Cooling System Cleaner for radiators: To clean the radiators of large commercial type vehicles such as buses and trucks, use 3 quarts added to the water in the radiator. Run the vehicle for one working day, then drain the radiator and flush the system with clean water. Fill the radiator with clean water and add 3 ounces for normal driving use. This will eliminate expensive breakdowns and cleaning procedures. This process will also eliminate rust and corrosion from your radiator, and engine. One tablespoon of common baking soda should also be added to the radiator for the prevention of electrolysis.
5. Engine Cleaning: Use 1 part to 5 parts of water for engine cleaning. Spray or wipe on and allow to remain while the car is running for a minimum of 1/2 hour, then rinse with water.
HAND CLEANER
Use a few drops full strength for heavy grease or ground-in dirt. Rub into hands before starting any extremely dirty jobs, to make cleanup quick and easy. Safe for the skin and inhibits growth of bacteria.
PET SHAMPOO
Dilution 1:30. Wash your pet as usual, rinse thoroughly. Helps control fleas and ticks.
WINDOW AND GLASS CLEANER
Dilution 1:50 Spray or brush on, let stand for a few minutes, squeegee or wipe dry.
SPOT REMOVER FOR CLOTHING
Use full strength on spot, let stand for 15 minutes. Wash normally or rinse out with fresh water. Safe for any fabric that can be washed.
LAUNDRY CLEANING
Use 1 ounce for every four gallons of water, wash as normal. Heavily soiled or greasy items may require slightly more product, or pre-spotting. Helps keep drains clean.
OVEN CLEANER
Dilution 1:1. Heat oven to 200 degrees. Turn off oven, brush or spray on, let stand for 30 minutes, then rinse or wipe off.
REFRIGERATOR CLEANING
Dilution 1:40. Spray or apply with cloth. Will remove and prevent mildew from refrigerator and door gaskets, and help to remove odors. Safe to use around food.
OUTDOOR GRILL & BBQ CLEANER
Dilution 1:1. Spray or brush on, let stand for 15 to 20 minutes, brush and rinse or wipe off.
LIGHT TO MEDIUM DE-GREASING
Dilution 1:20 Brush or spray on, let set for 10 to 15 minutes, brush lightly and rinse.
WALLS AND WOODWORK
Dilution 1:40. Spray or sponge on, wipe off with clean cloth or sponge.
FLOOR CLEANER
Dilution 1:20. Mop or spray on, let stand for 15 minutes and rinse or mop up. (Old or heavy deposits may require scrubbing with stiff brush or broom).
CARPET SCRUBBING MACHINES
Dilution 1:60. Apply, let stand 15 minutes, rinse and suction excess, according to machine instructions. Will not harm carpet pile or nap.
AIR DEODORIZING
May be atomized (sprayed) full strength into heating or cooling ventilators to remove unpleasant odors from the entire house.
GARAGE, DRIVEWAY, AND SIDEWALK CLEANER
Dilution 1:10. Apply with scrub-brush or stiff broom, let stand for 15 minutes, then rinse. Heavy oil spots or stains may require a stronger concentration and heavy scrubbing. Safe to rinse into landscaping or storm drains.
AUTO WASHING
Dilution 1:20. Apply with mitt or cloth or soft brush. Rinse thoroughly.
AUTO ENGINE CLEANING
Dilution 1:5. Brush or spray, let stand 20 minutes, brush lightly and rinse.
AUTO RADIATOR CLEANING
Add eight ounces (one cup) to radiator, run normally for one week, then drain and flush system. Helps reduce rust, scale, and corrosion. Add one ounce to radiator to help keep the cooling system free of buildup.
BOATING AND MARINE USES

GENERAL BOAT CLEANING
Dilution 1:20. Spray or brush on, rinse or wipe off. Cleans decks, hull, upholstery, fittings, and rigging.
BILGE CLEANING
Dilution 1:10. Can be used with fresh or salt water. Agitate with roll of ship or coarse water spray.
ALUMINUM BOATS AND FISHING EQUIPMENT
Dilution 1:15. Brush or spray on. Removes salt and minerals. Will not harm nylon monofilament, cotton, or hemp.
DECK AND TEAK CLEANER
Dilution 1:15. Brush or spray on, let stand for 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly. Old stains or heavy oil spots may require using a stiff brush.
ENGINE CLEANING
Dilution 1:10. Spray or brush on, let stand 15 minutes, then rinse. Heavy oil deposits may require brushing.
OUTBOARD MOTOR FLUSH
Dilution 1:5. Let stand for 15 minutes, then flush with fresh water. Helps increase engine performance.
GALLEY CLEANER
Dilution 1:10 for cold water or 1:50 for hot water for cleaning pots, pans, and dishes. Helps to keep drains clean.
SHOWER SUMP
Dilution 1:10. Helps keep drains clean, and prevent mineral deposits.
BOAT WINDOWS AND GLASS SURFACES
Dilution 1:50 Use for all windows and glass surfaces throughout the boat.
FOOD PROCESSING AND RESTAURANT APPLICATIONS
Active colloid cleaner is the safe, effective alternative to toxic cleaners, bleaches, and solvents. Active colloid cleaner is completely user and environmentally safe with no need for special equipment or clothing. It is a powerful and effective cleaner, degreaser, and deodorizer for commercial and institutional applications. It is an ideal product to be used around food processing - non-toxic, non-polluting and authorized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants as well as food processing areas. It is 100% rinseable. The trapping properties of colloid-active cleaners remove bacteria that can feed germs, mold, and mildew.
GENERAL CLEANING FOR RESTAURANTS
Active colloid cleaner is a general kitchen cleaning agent that effectively cleans storeroom areas, food preparation and dispensing equipment, counter areas, dishwashers, sinks, and restrooms. It may also be used for soaking cutting or processing tools before washing, resulting in renewed shine. Use 1 part cleaner to 40 parts water.
FOAMING EQUIPMENT APPLICATIONS
Using one part cleaner to 40 parts water in foaming applications is the standard for most application in a food processing or production facility. It is safe and effective and can also be used in a steam-cleaning machine if this is the standard for the facility. Active colloid cleaner doesn't contain components that might precipitate on the bottom of the tank and clog small orifices and tubing, or create scale in steam coils. Over time will also unclog any orifices and tubing previously clogged by powders.
STOVES, FRYERS AND OVENS
To clean ovens and fryers the dilution ratio would depend on the job that needs to be done and the type of cleaning equipment used. Most of the ovens and fryers would fall into a dilution ratio of 1 to 6 to 1 to 30, depending on how often they are cleaned and how dirty the jobs are.
REFRIGERATORS AND OTHER COLD STORAGE FACILITIES
Active colloid cleaner is very effective in cleaning the exterior and interior of walk-in and reach-in refrigerators, with the additional benefit of inhibiting, and in most cases completely eliminating, formation of mildew. Use a dilution ratio of 20 to one. The same ratio would apply to wiping down all stainless steel appliances and surfaces. Steam tables, stock pots, and coffee makers likewise can be effectively cleaned at this dilution, as this product will not scale or leave any remaining residue in or on the equipment. In most cases it will remove build-up from other cleaners used previously. The dilution ratio would depend on the cleaning task at hand.
TROUBLESHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE OF DRAINS & SEWERS
Active colloid cleaner has proven reliable in helping to clear clogged sewers and drains. The conditions vary from one situation to another. Results will likewise vary depending on the clog you may encounter. It is recommended that a light ratio be used initially, gradually increasing the ratio until satisfactory results are obtained. It’s use as a general cleaning agent will greatly assist in keeping drains and sewers free from unwanted deposits and buildup.
HAND CLEANING
Active colloid cleaner is an excellent hand cleaner. Use the product full strength if hands are extremely dirty, rub into skin thoroughly, add a little water, and continue to scrub, then rinse. It is odorless and non-irritating.
